How to remove the goldish/brownish stain on stainless wok?

I was cooking tonight with the stainless wok. I put oil even before the wok became hot and spread it all around. But after cooking, there was still a goldish/brownish stain left on it. I soaked it in hot water with liquid soap for several hours. Tried to remove it with the rough side of the sponge but still, it's there. Not sure if the wok got so hot that happened or what, but what's the best way to remove it? It's pretty new so I don't want it messed up.How to remove the goldish/brownish stain on stainless wok?
Fill wok with water. Apply Tide clothes detergent. Let boil. Add lemon juice.

Rinse and re-wash with regular dish soap.

Rinse.

Dry with soft cloth and apply olive oil for shiny finish. How to remove the goldish/brownish stain on stainless wok?
Bartender's Friend. It's in the cleanser's section of the store. Takes out all kinds of stains, and doesn't scratch.
